With a total population of about 1.34 billion, India contributes to about 17.86% to the total world’s population. With this much man power available to India, the country has the capacity to not only rise in its economy but also has the ability to change the course of the future. Under the impeccable guidance of commendable leaders, if one can achieve great heights; then imagining what a great nation can do is beyond beliefs. With correct encouragement and government schemes; this much man and mind power can strive to become independent in many aspects of their livelihood.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a campaign with this situation in mind on September 25, 2014 called Make In India. This campaign encourages national as well as multi-national companies to manufacture their products in India. India emerged, after initiation of the programme in 2015, as the top destination globally for foreign direct investment (FDI), surpassing the United States of America as well as the People’s Republic of China. In 2015, India received US$63 billion in FDI. The major objective behind this initiation is job creation and skill enhancement locally. To train the people of India to become self-sufficient is a very task which is now under progress.

To encourage the citizens of India further our Prime Minister has started another initiative with the name of Digital India. The main agenda for this campaign is to make the services of government of India be available to citizens electronically. This will be done by improved online infrastructure and by increasing Internet connectivity or by making the country digitally empowered in the field of technology. is a service which after being inspired from the prime minister’s initiative; assists small scale business to improve their online presence and be available to the world. To sell their products and services globally and create their brand value; not only helps them but also helps increase the brand value of our country India. Generally small scale businesses are run by people who are either low on funds or not sufficiently educated about the virtual presence. solves both issues as its service is both free and easy. Within few clicks and some decisions, one can easily create their fully functional website. This gives them a chance to enter the big races and participate in the global markets while being physically present in their comfort zone.

Creating a website can be an expensive as well as a time consuming task. Hence a lot of people ignore its importance but with changing times and needs, people need to understand the benefits of e-commerce engines. With Mr. Modi’s initiative to provide government services electronically, people can be drawn to this world and they should try opening their doors to the outside world.
